Cook Shines at Home
Brian Cook enjoyed coming back to his home state of Illinois as the Wizards upset the Bulls 87-84. Cook was solid on the floor in just under fourteen minutes of play. Brian filled the stat sheet with eight rebounds, one steal, dished out one assist and was two of four from his specialty spot, the three point line. Brian enjoyed playing in front of his family and friends in Chicago.
The Wizards head back to D.C. to prepare for their next game hosting the Milwaukee Bucks on Wednesday night.
Cook Steady in Tough Loss to Pistons
Brian has been steady for the Wizards when on the floor. During last night's game against the Detroit Pistons Brian contributed 8 points going three out seven from the field. He was perfect at the charity stripe and grabbed four boards in his twenty one minutes and fifty six seconds on the court. The Wizards dropped the game to the Pistons 99-94.
Cook Is Always Ready!
Brian had a worthy performance on the court last night against the Indiana Pacers. In 28 minutes and some change Brian contributed 10 points on 4-6 shooting from the field. He was perfect from his specialty area, the three point line and he was a force on the boards grabbing nine rebounds in his best game as a Wizard.
This performance followed Brian's 3-5 shooting from the field in just 11:54 against the Bucks on April 2.
Brian Cook Makes Wizards Debut
Brian Cook stepped on the court last night as a Washington Wizard wearing number 43. Brian wore the number when he left the Lakers in 2007. Brian played just under eight and half minutes in his Wizards debut scoring a three pointer on 1 of 4 from the field.
Cook is looking forward to bringing veteran leadership to the young Wizards team. "I look forward to working hard with these young guys and finishing the season in a positive way!"
Wizards Vs. Grizzlies Final Score: Washington Loses Second Game In A Row, 97-92.
The Washington Wizards were trying to not fall into another multi-game losing streak against the Memphis Grizzlies on Sunday evening, but were not able to do enough late to stave off defeat as the Grizzlies pick up the 97-92 victory. John Wall once again led the Wiz in scoring with 25 points, also picking up 6 rebounds and 6 assists on the night. Jordan Crawford was able to pick up 22 points, while Kevin Seraphin added 12 points and 12 rebounds to pick up the double-double.
